Due to a severe portkey malfunction, I lost everything I carried on my last journey. Including my wand. I was devastated, as all of you can imagine. Luckily, the portkey company of my choosing had very good insurance and so I spent a day in Diagon Alley, half of it trying to find a new wand and the other half with choosing a new quill. What was left I filled with browsing all the crude and whimsical shops, treating myself to a lot of useful and not so useful but fun things. At the last minute, I visited a medium. I thought I might check for any looming accidents in the future. The adorable old Lady told me to go home and chill with some premium Wolfstar content. She thought I deserved a night off. I agreed and left her with a generous tip.

I spent a lot of galleons making my way to Diagon Alley to meet my favourite author! Im Gilderoy Lockhart's biggest fan and there was no way that I was going to miss his book signing. I bought his latest works and all the Lockhart memorabilia I found find. His award winning smile and his dreamy eyes focused on me were all worth it.

My submission: I needed to go shopping for some potions supplies, and I got some pretty crystals and a new tarot deck while I was at it!

I would buy everything for my favourite class Astronomy, including fancy charts and models, a new telescope and new parchment, ink, quills and tons of notebooks.

I went shopping for a masquerade ball that's taking place soon at the ministry. The shoes are charmed to be comfy even after hours of wear and the dress is spelled against dirt or spills because well, they're expensive. There's also a section on boardgames, and this shop organises gamenights - to discover new games and for people living alone to get a chance to get to do boardgames.

I'd love to open a tattoo shop. The front would actually be a rather small room, almost like a small coffee house. There would be art all over the walls of previous tats that have been placed. There would be two or three tables in the room, a little bar where coffee can be made. In that front room you can make an appointment to get a tattoo, artists discuss with their clients what they want and make an initial sketch. Then the back is actually really large and clean, because that's where the tattoos are actually placed. It's well lit, has clean lines, there's hygiene stuff everywhere to make sure it is the safest it can be. Anyone can come in to get a tattoo. Even ex-Death Eaters are welcome to get their Dark Marks covered up. Muggle and Magical options are available. Magical tattoos could change colours or move in the wind/with the seasons/day. Options galore. I'd be in the front of the shop, running logistics, because I don't have enough artist bones in my body to even be a halfway decent tattoo artist. But I'd hire amazing artists with varying styles to become the best tattoo shop out there.

Hello y’all, welcome to my manor! I’ve recently purchased this beautiful estate and I’m finally ready to show it off. At last, I’ve fulfilled my dream of having a house that symbolizes elegance and class. Of course, I had basic requirements for my dream house. It needed to have a huge library with multiple sections to satisfy my inordinate desire to read. And seeing that I would love to obtain a mastery in potions, I would need a space to refine my brewing skills. In order to aid this process, I would need a greenhouse in my vast garden where I am able to personally harvest herbs and other potion ingredients. I finally found this gem on the outskirts of the city, just close enough for me to be alone but not lonely. That being said, I would love to have people over for a dinner party to celebrate my grand purchase. Perhaps this weekend? We could have a sleepover.... I have spare bedrooms

Fruit and vegetables gardens and a greenhouse to grow herbs for potions. There are some resident goats and chickens roaming around. Toasty warm fireplaces provide light and heat. A reading book area with floor to ceiling bookshelves with a large open window for fresh, clean air. And a sexy, capable wizard to keep me company and stimulate me... intellectually.

Glencoe. The site of a Scottish tragedy ebbs with dark magic of the lives that were lost here. This is where I live. The quiet snow and eerie atmosphere turns away strangers and leaves me to my home comforts where I can practise my dark arts in peace. Along with my beagle, Mogar.

Welcome to my forest retreat! This house is built into the woods surroundings, even around the forest with trees running through the house. There are large floor to ceiling windows everywhere to let in as much light as possible. Close to the house there is a small pond, and that pond feeds into the small vegetable patch next to the house. Thanks to apparition, I wouldn't have to live close to anything, so why even bother, when nature is so pretty!

This is my top floor flat in Porto. The apartment buildings on the river bank look smushed-up on the outside, but have been expanded and well lit up with a combination of charms. There's a little roof top garden with a hammock where you can read a book or just observe the view to the river. Also port wine.

There is nothing more soothing to me than sitting on the beach, reading a book, and listening to the waves. Also, I love warm weather and the sun so there would be windows in every room. The home would be so cozy with a mix of white, grey, and teals. I JUST WANNA BE WARM AND ON THE BEACH. And also we can use an expansion charm for when all of you come to visit us along with warming charms so we can be on the beach at any time of the year.

With so many plants and books in one house, nobody will notice my magical ones. They also won't notice me in my animagus form because there will be at least 10 more cats there.

Summer in Italy. My country house would be set in an eternal summer in Italy with vintage vibes, full of books, beautiful summer dresses, and picnic scapes every other day. It made me think of the movie “call me by your name.”

This is my surreal Escher-esque Mountain Valley-esque house! It has an art studio/music room/library, a dressing room, and it's magical because, well, structural integrity.

Cabin in the woods

You can find me in the village of Sholeck, an all-magical fellowship hidden from Muggles somewhere among the hills of Scotland. My home is a two-floor stone cottage with extra rooms for visitors because I love having people over. Being a practiced potioneer, I turned a small area of the house into a Medicinal Plants and Potions shop where wizards and witches come for herbal salves, refreshing tonics, and the highly popular Brew for Lucid Dreaming. The house is filled with plants and books, and there is always the smell of something delicious cooking because I can never get enough of eating. I also have a duck named Captain Noodles, who is really good friends with the neighbor’s cat. He’s a funny guy but he doesn’t listen to me very much. That’s okay

Welcome to my treehome! Climb the ladder to the spacious main room. Curl up among the pillows on the windowseat to look out the windows for Jobberknolls or a rare Golden Snidget, or lie on the floor with a soft blanket to read a book from the many built-in shelves. There is plenty of quiet to enjoy and plenty of room for friends to visit!

So my house in the Wizarding World would be in Diagon Alley! I’d be living in a cute ass flat above one of the shops, probably Flourish & Blott’s because books :hnnnnggg:. I imagine I’d be living with one of my best pals and we’d have a tiny lil balcony (bc London lol), a reading nook, and of course a bar cart with some hella cool neon lights. I also think I’d be a muggleborn in the WW so I’d regularly visit Borough Market for all the yummy food and probably spend a lot of time at WWW’s, hanging out with Fred and George. Also my owl, Milk, will be our pet, see if you can find him in the collage :awesomeface:. (We’ll just ignore the fact I’ve definitely abandoned him in #care-of-magical-creatures). Everyone come for a sleepover, I’m making cocktails!

Sea Cave on the outskirts of Barcelona. I’m a city girl and I want my salsa dancing and foodie places and tiles but also sun sea fruits anyway you got the vibe here. 

Meanwhile in lockdown I’ll be going around, taking care of magical sea creatures and cats, hunting for seashells to make little trinkets/amulets and of course the water rituals aka take long swims.

I present Chaostopia! Located somewhere deep in the Bermuda Triangle along a chain of volcanoes, this magical town is home to a plethora of excitement. We thrive off of danger and fire, and magic ensures our survival. There are of course wards around homes and anything of value that you don't want to burn up, although for the most part we've all grown used to the lava rivers and constant lightning storms and houses built upon pillars of lava rock.

My hometown's magic is hidden in plain sight! Is the statue of Wellington with a traffic cone on his head just a Glasgow icon? Or perhaps an ode to the wizards that dwell within? Are the high up windows on the sandstone buildings offices of companies you've never heard of? Or perhaps secret homes of the magical elite presiding over the city? Are the cobble streets and alleys leftover remnants of a past century? Or perhaps an indication that you've wandered into a place more magical than the one you left behind? In the hustle and bustle of the city of Glasgow, it's easy to just look straight ahead, forgetting where exactly you are. Maybe if you take a closer look, you may see something rather unexpected? ✨

My magical location is Tuscany, Italy. There are magical and muggle street markets, laid back, kind people, and the very best elf wine ever made. Be ready to have extended family style dinners, amazing wine, and the most beautiful sunsets.

Mine's probably not super original but I picked Paris, France (at night) as my magical location. I was fortunate enough to visit for a few days during an undergrad study abroad trip and it was a truly amazing experience. 💜

the wizarding town of Drachensee is located around a lake in the Tyrol region of Austria. the town is home to approximately 1,000 members of the Austrian wizard population, and is famous for the dragons who live in caves on the mountainside.

Chester, England. A magical walled city built by the Romans and styled by the Tudors. In the wizarding world, a curse was once placed on the city, a curse that caused all plants to continuously grow. Once a nuisance, the residents adapted to enjoy the greenery and even host quarterly pruning events. The city is now home to many botany enthusiasts and herbology experts!

My magical kingdom is on a cliff by the sea. Their magic let the beings who rule here transform their once normal ships into flying vessels to explore the rest of the continents. The race who lives here looks very much like elves, except that their way to master magic is very human. The main castle is pristine and delicate, and it has underground pools made from seawater. These rulers make sure their people's lives are rich and abundant, and other races are always welcome to visit the grounds; needless to say, no secrets of magic will be revealed to strangers.

My magical world needs to be near the ocean, the pictures I pick are from my favorite place in the world Holbox, Cancún. It is peaceful, beautiful, and pink.

Introducing Velaris! Protected and hidden away from the world is a town built on the hills. With a breeze of salt and lemon verbena, you feel at peace and one with the city. Meant to be seen at night, the city becomes one with the sky and lives up to it’s name of The City of Starlight.

My Kingdom The East Coast of Canada is and always be my Kingdom. From the icy ocean to the blueberry briar fields. From the tall pine forests to the wild flower meadows. This is my happy place.

Zfat is a mystical/magical place in Israel. This city is one of the most religious places in Israel. The city is in the Upper Galilee and is a delicious blend of ancient grandeur and modern-day resort. The people who live there practice the Kabbalah which is a type of mystical interpretation of the bible. There are many things to do like go touring the city and browse the art galleries. They are also known for many stairs all over.

My submission is Granada! The contrast between the beautiful Islamic Architecture, the small streets, and the cave-houses carved into the mountains is simply magical to me. 💙

Mahō-machi, Japan The kanji 魔法町 reads “Mahō-machi” which means “town of magic/witchcraft” (i just made it up lmao so idk if it translates properly) Japan has always felt magical to me so this is what I came up with 🥰

my magical town is on an island off the coast of sicily which became famous as a trading port and is known around europe for its market, where one can find the most obscure potion ingredients (unfortunately, the market is also on its way to becoming a tourist trap, and it's easy to get scammed if you're not an advanced potionist and know your way around)

Welcome to what I am calling Other-Riven-Narnia. My submission took a lot of fantasy elements from the books I have read and the movies and TV Shows I have watched. Big castles, flowing water falls and ruins galore to explore. There will always be something to explore and history to find in this magical kingdom 💚

Lost City of Atlantis 💙

My Magical city is Prague, Czech Republic. It is rich in history dating back 1000 years, including but not limited to the Prague Astronomical Clock. The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest clock still operating.

My magical city is Bath 💙

I kinda saw it as “Andromeda in love” because she’s one of the softest Slytherin.

I struggle to imagine the puffs going full on dark, but I can easily imagine them embracing the darkness of all things mildly infuriating, like leaving jam on the butter :nauseated_face: or stray legos on the ground. Also this might be my ugliest submission to date (which is saying something xD). I made sure everything was slightly misaligned for mild fury bonus points.

I went for a playful neon green for my snek board! As a slytherin we love our friend groups, even if it might be small. For those that know us, we can be bubbly and energetic just like corgis, however we also need our "me" time hence the beach picture since that's the most soothing place to me.

I really think that Slytherins and Claws are far more alike than we typically realize. The pressure to be something great can crush you, and turn you into something even you don't realize.

I tried to use Ravenclaw bronze and blue, with a staircase leading up to Ravenclaw Tower.

When Claws Go Dark... Inspired by a modern day Dr. Frankenstein.

Slytherins are often portrayed as dark AND evil. However, this challenge asked that we make a “fluffy Slytherin.” As a result, I attempted to merge light and dark colours to show that you can be both. The three pictures in the upper left quadrant show our desire to follow traditions and doing what is expected of us. However, the images in the bottom right corner contrast sharply with the upper left in order to express our ambition and our determination to do better in life. The middle diagonal is the meeting ground between our “lighter” and “darker” sides. This is deeply embedded into us since it represents our loyalty to our chosen family, regardless of them being human or four-legged.
