We would also like to present the Ravenclaw crest featuring our new mascot.
Gryffindor's element is surely fire, and this little guy literally lives in fire, so we felt the salamander best represents our house.
The Hufflepuffs have considered, have voted, and decided that Elsa is a Hufflepuff. She's been sorted in Ravenclaw and Slytherin, but Hufflepuff suits her much better and this is why.
First. Loyalty. She spent 13 years in complete isolation not to hurt her sister. Her loyalty to her is unquestionable. In addition to that, she is loyal to her country to the point she would run away to protect them, sacrifice her happiness to be the best queen possible [that's on Forest of Shadows], and face the dangers of the Enchanted Forest to save the kingdom.
Second. Dedication, hard-work. She is always seen as someone who works very hard to get things done in the best way possible. She spent years in isolation trying to control her powers (the wrong way, but she tried). She works very hard to be a good queen, even though she is anxious around people.... she sleeps very little and has little time to spend with Anna [Forest of Shadows]. She is also very intense in her task to find the voice calling her, save the Enchanted Forest and Arendelle, and appease the spirits. The Disney official page says: "Grateful her kingdom now accepts her, she works hard to be a good queen."
Third. Fairness/Justice. She is considered a fair queen by her people [Forest of Shadows].
Fourth. Kindness/Compassion. Elsa is overall kind. She is protective to her family (and I believe she thinks of her people and her kingdom as family), which means she will go out of the way to make them prosper and happy.
She is not the absolutely PERFECT Hufflepuff since she's suspicious of people sometimes. But who fits perfectly in any house?
The Ravenclaws have voted Neil Gaiman as a member of our House. Honestly, it is hard to see him as anything other than a Ravenclaw.
Gaiman was always an avid reader with a passion for developing new ideas and telling stories. This is a quote from an interview and can be found in his Wikipedia: “Gaiman was able to read at the age of four. He said, "I was a reader. I loved reading. Reading things gave me pleasure. I was very good at most subjects in school, not because I had any particular aptitude in them, but because normally on the first day of school they'd hand out schoolbooks, and I'd read them—which would mean that I'd know what was coming up because I'd read it."
An accomplished creator and storyteller, Gaiman worked in many different types of media for a reason. He has stated that he likes to learn and use different methods of storytelling so that his vision and creativity are never limited by anyone's medium's restrictions. He will always try new things, new ways of telling stories whenever they appear because he loves the idea of breaking new ground, doing something no one's ever done before. That's the reason, according to him, he loves comics so much.
Another quote from him that better shows his passion:
"One of the joys of comics has always been the knowledge that it was, in many ways, untouched ground. It was virgin territory. [...] I got to write in places and do things that nobody had ever done before. When I'm writing novels I'm painfully aware that I'm working in a medium that people have been writing absolutely jaw-droppingly brilliant things for, you know, three-four thousand years now."
Loki is the God of mischief, he uses his charm to hide his real goals and mask his feelings as his feeling of not fitting in with his family and Asgard. Like many Slytherins, he made dubious choices and was seduced by the promise of reaching a goal, because like all Slytherins Loki is ambitious. But besides that, he is loyal to his own, when in the face of decisive decisions he faces fear not open-heartedly like a Gryffindor, in a calculated and determined way he, in the end, was loyal to his greater good Asgard.

Hufflepuffs are often forgotten or overlooked, the back-up house, the dump house. But we Badgers will always be there for the people who need it and put in that hard work.
1st Course: horsefeather cocktail (made with spicy ginger-beer and firewhiskey of course)
2nd Course: empanadas (because everything tastes better wrapped in pastry)
3rd Course: pho with scallops (spicy and cozy--just like us)
4th Course: lemon-blueberry dump cake (made with love)
5th Course: hot chocolate and marmite macaroons in front of the fireplace (because we're extra like that)
Why would they be better suited? Do they have your house traits?
A Slytherin has certain traits. We are known for our determination, pride, ambition, and loyalty. When determining who we thought would also be in our house, we looked at those traits as well as what the person wanted themselves.
Steph’s Opinion on her Hogwarts House
The Sorting Hat, as we all know, listens to your opinion on your Hogwarts house. Steph is split on her affiliation. She has discussed multiple times about being a Slytherclaw. One such comment is pictured below.
Other discussions have occurred about Steph’s house loyalty. In this discussion, she tells us that she is experiencing an identity crisis about house membership. Steph knows her true home is between Ravenclaw and Slytherin and denies being a Hufflepuff. She feels she is a Slytherclaw at heart. The discord also agreed she is Slytherin as evidenced by the amount of Slytherin votes on the first message.
Steph’s Ambition and Determination
Steph is incredibly intelligent and knows a lot about Harry Potter. Most people would think that makes Steph a Ravenclaw, but we have to disagree. Ravenclaws learn things because of internal motivation, they like to learn. We looked through most of the discord but failed to find an instance where Steph said she liked to study. Instead, we found messages that Steph’s motivation to learn are the trivia sessions. She learns because she wants to get a high score and win house points. This is external motivation which is found consistently in Slytherin. Slytherins have big goals and ambition. We also enjoy winning. When we have a goal we work hard for it and we feel that’s exactly what Steph is doing.
Loyalty, Aesthetic and Family: A TikTok Analysis
Steph is on TikTok frequently. We feel it is an excellent source for her nature and true self. Because of this, we took the time to analyze her TikTok account for signs of her Slytherin nature and compared it to other house traits. We found multiple Slytherin signs. The most obvious is pictured. In this TikTok, Steph is wearing a face mask (Hell Yeah) that is the most Slytherin looking facemask we have ever seen. It’s green, but not just a shade of green, it’s Slytherin green. The pattern on the mask is made in dark colors and looks mysterious. It has an elegant yet cool approach that echoes the feel of our common room. Were Hogwarts classes meeting in person, we can guarantee that many of the Slytherin masks would be similar.
This second TikTok shows us some conversations Steph has with her two best friends. For this TikTok challenge, Steph asks her friends the important question of why she is single. Both friends pass the test and tell her it’s not because of her, but because men are trash (gurl we all agree). Steph is the kind of person that has the most loyal of friends. Have you ever read about Ravenclaws being the most supportive friends? Don’t think so. Look at how they treated Luna. Loyalty runs deep in certain houses, particularly one with green and silver.
In the next TikTok, Steph shows us the foods she eats in a day. Her first meal is avocado toast with salmon and poached egg. Hella boujee and Steph knows it too. You know who eats boujee food? Slytherins. We have a refined palate that enjoys the finer things (and occasionally the not so fine).
In this last TikTok Steph is being told Sirius Black is her brother. So Steph is a Black family member. Statistically speaking most Black family members are Slytherin, so it’s likely Steph is a Slytherin too. Sirius was the black sheep of the family running off to Gryffindor, while Regulus stayed true to tradition. While we will accept that every person is unique, we are happy to play the odds that her family loyalty will hold true.
Steph's Natural Affiliation with House Royalty and Optics
Steph is quick to defend the things she loves and especially her love for Draco. She often laughs and jokes before she grows serious to defend him. While we appreciate her current castle unity, we can’t help but notice how well she wears our colors. Who can’t imagine her curled up on one of the Slytherin common room couches with our resident seeker?
In conclusion
Steph exhibits many of the traditional Slytherin traits. She embraces external motivation for her weekly trivia study sessions. She is competitive and ambitious in gaining her top 3 spot on the leaderboard. She proudly shows her artwork and encourages others to showcase theirs in an act of leadership. She has no shame when it comes to what, or who, she loves. Steph may feel split, but to us she is green and silver at heart.
Anime is a valuable member in our server. We, as a house have chosen Anime to join us. She is patient in The Greenhouse, helping other members grow their ideas. She is kind, for a week she wrote a nice comment about a lot of people in the server. It was a lovely gesture. She even now holds the title of Spirit Snake for her love-sharing (we can change that into Spirit Badger, that's fine). She is hard working. She has been editing her fic for a while now, to make sure it’s perfect. No rushing for her. She’s not afraid to ask for help if she needs it. Anime is a true Hufflepuff and it would be an Honour to have her in our house! PuffPride!
Red Rover, Red Rover, send Ramona right over! For this weeks challenge we have unanimously decided Ramona as our long-lost comrade. Ramona is so encouraging to her peer, especially when it comes to their writing. She volunteered to beta Noelle's WIP after seeing how nervous ,and hesitant Noelle was about putting it out into the world. Ramona gave Noelle the boost of courage she needed, to the gratitude of Noelle. That is chivalry at it' best. Raoma took time out of her day to type up an entire list of helpful suggestions for Anime when the latter was disturbed over her sleeping troubles. This is the sort of selfless behaviour that Ramona has exhibited time and again. Chivalry. Comraderie. Ramona does not beat around the bush when it comes to her beliefs. She has the courage to speak and live as herself in an unforgiving world. These are all the best qualities of a Gryffindor, and we all love her for them
We chose black garlic butter for our condiment this week. Black garlic itself is a magical ingredient. Slowly heated for months to achieve the perfect Mailliard Reaction in the cloves, this garlic has a distinctive yet subtle savoury flavour. The darkened bulb can replace the common garlic to spice up a dish or blow away dinner guests. Butter is inherently tasty and refined. It plays with your senses making food taste creamy and decadent with just a touch. Black garlic butter overall is elegant, expensive, and extremely hard to come by, which makes it perfect for us. Slytherins are similar in that we do not fit in everywhere, but instead stand out and enhance our surroundings. We have our own particular dark style and distinct taste. Yes, we share a name with common garlic and butter, but our distinct nature cultivates firm loyalty from those who appreciate us. We may melt in your mouth and appear as a treat, but there will be an acidic bite if you aren’t prepared for us. Oh, you wanted a recipe? I don’t know, ask our elves!

M&Ms are the perfect candy representatives for Hufflepuff house. They are very bright and colorful on the outside and are sweet and delicious on the inside. Just like how Hufflepuffs are all different but so sweet inside and out. Also like Hufflepuff, M&Ms blend well with other desserts. There’s hardly any dessert that can’t be improved by M&Ms, and there’s no team of people who couldn’t benefit from a hardworking and loyal Hufflepuff. Furthermore, M&Ms are the perfect snack to share with friends. And what’s more Hufflepuff than sharing with friends?

We have chosen a good selection of cities on 3 continents to fully immerse ourselves in the Muggle World. If we could visit every continent in one day we would, but we didn’t want to abuse Wideye Potion! Curious as we are, we wanted to learn everything about Muggles' different cultures, eat all the food and wear their fancy clothes. We carried our sketchbooks so we could compare notes at the end of the journey and debate our insight. Probably the most difficult part was choosing between Italian and American pizza. Because this was an educational trip, all expenses were paid by the Board of Governors. No student should feel like they can't get the full experience for any reason. It's one thing for Ravenclaw House to read about the world in books from the Library but a wholly different thing to see it! Please refer to the presentation we put together for full details:

Master plan:
We give the other houses a riddle that's almost impossible to solve, the riddle will be given by a sphinx. If they solve it they will be told they can find us in the Chamber of secrets by the sphinx. Here we will be hiding in the middle of a maze in a very comfortable blanket fort with lots of food. In the Maze there will be thief's downfall everywhere which means all concealments or enchantments the other houses have will wash away when they enter(so even if they use Imperius Curse or liquid luck it will be canceled). Inside the maze there will be devil’s snare as our plant and peruvian instant darkness powder as our Weasley item which will make it harder for the other houses to get through. With all of this there is no way they can find us and if they do they will be completely worn out while we just have been playing games and eating in our blanket fort. We will be using felix felicis, because that just seems like a logical choice and will have our spell power improved by the Magicus extremos.

We will have a garden snake that travels through the pipes to spy on Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Muggleborn Parselmouth is able to communicate with the snake.

Langlock: So they can’t cast any fire spell (cause their tongue will be glued to the roof of their mouth) once they are trapped in the devil’s snare.

Rictusempra: Because weakening them by laughter is just the king of spell that is harmless but ironically if used as an attack can defeat an opponent
Salvio hexia: So they can’t hexe our maze, once more compelling them to enter
